For Epiphany 2026, KOMET has joined forces with two exceptional French artisans: L’Enfariné du Roc in Nant and Le Moulin de Cambelong in Conques, led by Michelin-starred chefs Émilie and Thomas.
This collaboration celebrates the encounter between gastronomy and ceramics through a collection of handcrafted porcelain beans, designed and fired in our Aveyron studio.
The cardabelle bean: a local symbol reborn
For L’Enfariné du Roc, KOMET created a bean inspired by the cardabelle, a wild thistle native to the limestone plateaus of Aveyron and traditionally seen as a good-luck charm.
Each piece is hand-modeled in faience, stamped with the official logo of the bakery, and glazed in a palette of earthy tones — forest green, saffron, ochre, and smoky blue.
This symbolic design pays tribute to the southern Aveyron landscape and to the artisanal spirit shared by both houses.
A bespoke bean for Émilie and Thomas, chefs of the Moulin de Cambelong
In Conques, chefs Émilie and Thomas of the Michelin-starred Moulin de Cambelong wanted a bean that would reflect their identity and the soul of their restaurant.
KOMET designed an exclusive creation in white faience, shaped like the silhouette of the mill and embossed with the restaurant’s logo.
Its pure lines and timeless design mirror the precision and sensitivity of their cuisine — a delicate balance between tradition, nature, and contemporary refinement.
When ceramics meet gastronomy
These two unique collections embody the same vision: a celebration of craftsmanship and collaboration between artisans of the table, the oven, and the kiln.
At L’Enfariné du Roc, bread is shaped from local flours with patience and care.
At Le Moulin de Cambelong, Émilie and Thomas transform local ingredients into elegant, emotion-driven dishes.
And at KOMET, clay becomes a living material — shaped, fired, and glazed by hand to give form to objects that hold meaning.
A timeless Epiphany to remember
The 2026 galettes des rois from L’Enfariné du Roc and Le Moulin de Cambelong will each feature a handmade KOMET bean, crafted and glazed in our Aveyron workshop.
These collectible porcelain pieces are designed as lasting symbols of the connection between gastronomy, craftsmanship, and nature —
small treasures to keep, share, and pass on.
