This autumn, KOMET is returning to Maison&Objet — and this time, with a special distinction: we’ve been selected to join the Factory Émergence, a program supported by Francéclat and the Confédération des Arts de la Table (CAT). It’s a meaningful recognition — and a real boost for our artisanal, contemporary approach to tableware.

Summer in Millau has a special flavour — a blend of authenticity, warmth, and meaningful encounters. Every Tuesday evening, the heart of the city comes alive with the Aveyron Farmers’ Night Markets, and we’re delighted to be part of them with KOMET all season long.

There are projects that tell far more than they show. La Gazette du Croustou, run by Vanille FSSRD, is one such project. This roving, sensitive and generous medium explores the region with a single obsession: to shine a light on those who feed, care for, cook and transform - with their hands and their hearts. From producers to restaurateurs, from bakers to market cooks, La Gazette weaves a contemporary tale of gastronomy lived, committed, rooted, but never static. And it's only natural that KOMET should want to add its own material.

At KOMET, every gesture matters. In our studio nestled in Aveyron, we’ve chosen to combine artistic precision with environmental responsibility. Our certification with the Zero Waste label isn’t an achievement — it’s a direction. A commitment we renew every day in how we create, consume… and think about material.

This summer, KOMET ceramic is taking up residence in Millau! We'll be delighted to be one of the exhibitors at the night markets of producers and craftsmen, organised by the Fermiers de l'Aveyron, on each of the dates scheduled for 2025.

We’re proud to be part of the “Fabriqué en Occitanie” Tour, stopping in Millau on June 27 and 28. This traveling showcase celebrates the makers and craftspeople who give shape to our region — and we’re thrilled to represent the world of contemporary ceramics made in Aveyron.

It’s the result of extensive experimentation — and a clear commitment: to preserve the tactile richness of the material while reducing our energy impact.

Being awarded the “Made in Aveyron” label is both an honor and a commitment: to craft locally, responsibly, and authentically. Our pieces now on display at the Aire de l’Aveyron rest stop highlight this connection to place. What we do, without grand speeches We won't talk to you about carbon targets or environmental reports. At KOMET ceramic, ecology is not a line of communication. It's just a way of being, on a daily basis, in our workshop, in our way of producing and choosing.

On June 7th and 8th, our studio KOMET will proudly take part in the centenary celebration of the Roquefort AOP – a landmark event honoring a century of excellence, tradition, and craftsmanship in the heart of Aveyron.

Since 2024, KOMET has had the pleasure of collaborating with L'Hédonisterie, a singular project spearheaded by Gourmets de France, which celebrates what we deeply love: the beautiful, the good, and the true.

Since our beginnings at KOMET, we've always believed that the best collaborations are born of shared values. This is exactly what happened with L'Enfariné du Roc, an organic artisan bakery and patisserie nestled in Nant, Aveyron.
