There are projects that tell far more than they show.
La Gazette du Croustou, run by Vanille FSSRD, is one such project. This roving, sensitive and generous medium explores the region with a single obsession: to shine a light on those who feed, care for, cook and transform - with their hands and their hearts.
From producers to restaurateurs, from bakers to market cooks, La Gazette weaves a contemporary tale of gastronomy lived, committed, rooted, but never static.
And it's only natural that KOMET should want to add its own material.
🍽 The table as a place of transmission
At KOMET, we believe that the object is a vector of emotion, and that it can amplify the scope of a story.
When Vanille asked us to design a series of bespoke pieces to accompany La Gazette du Croustou, we saw an opportunity to create a medium that conveyed both meaning and gesture.
The plates created for the occasion - with their supple shapes, bold or marbled colors - become extensions of the project: they welcome the stories, enhance the portraits, support the words.
✍ A publishing object in its own right
Engraving "La Gazette du Croustou" on clay meant giving concrete form to a living medium.
Each piece embodies a fragment of what the Gazette is about: kilometers traveled, tables set, glances exchanged.
Not a promotional object - but a poetic extension of the message, designed to live alongside artisans, in markets, in food outlets, and perhaps even in your own home.
🤝 A collaboration that makes sense
KOMET is not just a ceramics workshop: it's a brand born of the desire to dialogue with the world of cuisine, wine and living creation.
To collaborate with a project like La Gazette du Croustou is to extend this desire to listen and shape. It's also a way of affirming that container and content can speak with the same voice.
Thanks to Vanille for her trust, generosity and vision.
