For this first edition of tote bags, KOMET joins forces with Le Manoir aux Histoires to create “The KOMET Universe.”
A black and white design, both graphic and poetic, where shapes float like fragments from the studio — comets, sparks, spirals, and matter in motion.
Each element of the illustration echoes what drives us: earth, fire, gesture, and creation in perpetual movement. These abstract symbols tell the story of ceramics without depicting it directly — a constellation of forms inspired by reality and carried by imagination.
Le Manoir aux Histoires, founded by Célia Cartayrade and Étienne Clot, is a graphic design studio based in Millau, dedicated to visual creation, screen printing, and illustration. Their sensitive and narrative approach was recently awarded the “Crée ta boîte” Prize by the Maison des Entreprises de Millau, highlighting the creativity and local impact of their work.
Conceived as a natural extension of our universe, this tote bag marks the beginning of a collection of limited-edition objects designed as fragments of KOMET to carry with you — a simple and meaningful way to bridge craft and design, matter and movement.
